The e-scooter is christened the Bajaj Chetak

Here are some things that one must know about the e-scooter – 

  • The e-scooter has a neo-retro look. 
  • Every panel of the e-scooter is made of metal.
  • The e-scooter is built on a reinforced steel frame.
  • Bajaj equipped the e-scooter with 12-inch precision-machined alloy wheels.

  • The front wheel of the e-scooter has a single suspension unit mounted on one side of the wheel.
  • The rear wheel has been paired with a single mono-shock suspension unit.
  • The range offered by the e-scooter is 85 – 95 KMs per full charge.
  • It takes approximately 5 hours for the 3kWh lithium-ion battery pack to fully charge itself. The battery pack is waterproof and it has an IP67 rating.
  • The electronically limited top speed of the e-scooter is 70 KMPH.
  • The motor powering the rear wheel can deliver a continuous power output of 3800 W. The peak power output delivered by the motor is 4,080 W. The peak torque mapping for the motor is set for 16Nm.
  • The e-scooter has front disc brakes. The rear wheel is paired with drum brakes.
