The P150 gained a lot of hype from the moment test mules were being tested on the roads. The spy shots of the test mule(s) made people think it was the next-gen Pulsar 150. That is not the case.
The P150 might look like a next-generation Pulsar 150 on steroids but it’s not! The Bajaj Pulsar P150 is a brand-new motorcycle built from scratch. The Bajaj Pulsar P150 seat height is 790 mm. The base model comes with a front disc brake and rear drum brake setup. The base trim also entails a single-piece seat. The handlebar on the base trim of this bike is flat. The pillion grab-rail on the bike is also a single-piece unit. The top-spec version of the P150 comes with a front and rear disc braking setup. The top-spec trim also gets a split-style seat, a clip-on handlebar, and split pillion grab rails. Both the base trim and the top-spec trim come with single-channel ABS.
Style and colours
The P150 comes equipped with a single-pod headlight completed with an LED DRL. The visor on the bike is tinted. The muscular fuel tank is stylized with fuel tank shrouds. The Pulsar branding entails a 3D finish. The engine is wrapped with a protective cowl. The exhaust manifold of the bike is an underbelly unit. The split-style LED taillight entails a fresh design as well. The bike is offered by Bajaj Auto in the following colour schemes.

Engine
The motorcycle engine for the P150 is built from scratch. The engine is a 149.68cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, dual-sparkplug equipped, BS6-compliant unit. The peak power and torque outputs of the engine are 14.5bhp and 13.5Nm respectively. The peak power is unlocked at 8,500rpm and the peak torque is unlocked at 6,000rpm.
Suspensions & brakes
The P150 comes with a traditional telescopic fork suspension at the front. The rear suspension is a preload-adjustable mono-shock suspension. The base trim comes with a 260mm front disc brake and a 130mm rear drum brake. The top-spec trim comes with a 260mm front disc brake and a 230mm rear disc brake.

The base trim of the Bajaj Pulsar P150 is Rs. 1, 35,227 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The top trim of the bike entails the ex-showroom, Delhi price of Rs. 1, 38,528.
