The Avenger Cruise 220 from Bajaj
Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise is the top trim in the Avenger range. It has the looks of a miniaturised classic American cruiser bike. It is nimble, comfortable and fuel-efficient. It is available at an average ex-showroom price of Rs. 1, 64,474*.
Trim options are limited to one but the colours available are two. The single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, BS6-compliant engine has 220 CC displacement. It is capable of belting out 18.4 bhp power and 17.55 Nm torque.
The bike has a large windshield at the front, low saddle-like seat and a cushioned backrest for the pillion rider. It has cruiser-style handlebars, front positioned footpegs and a raked-out front wheel. It comes with front disc brakes and single-channel ABS. The rear wheel however has drum brakes. It has a fuel tank with 13 litres capacity.
The 390 Adventure from KTM
KTM’s 390 Adventure has an average MSRP (ex-showroom) of Rs. 3, 87,828*. The bike comes in a single trim but has two colours on offer. The engine is a 373 CC, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected unit. It is compliant with the BS6 emission norms. It is quite capable as it can produce 42.3 bhp of peak power.
Peak torque output stands at 37 Nm. It has front and rear disc brakes. ABS is a standard OEM fitment. It has a 14.5-litre fuel tank and a dry weight of just 163 KGs. It is often considered one of the best bikes for long rides currently available in India.
The 400 CC variant of Bajaj’s Dominar
The Dominar range is available in two engine choices – a 400 CC variant and a 250 CC variant. The former is better than the latter in terms of endurance which is a must for long bike trips. The bike is available at an average ex-showroom price of Rs. 2, 42,295*.
Bajaj offers the bike in a single trim but kept 2 colour options. The motor has a displacement of 373.27 CC. It is compliant with BS6 norms. The peak power and torque outputs of the bike are 39.42 bhp and 35 Nm respectively. It has front and rear disc brakes. ABS is OEM standard fitment.
The dry weight of the motorcycle is 187 KGS. It has a massive fuel tank with 13 litres capacity.
