The Duke range of bikes is quite popular in India. KTM recently subjected its products to the much-needed BS6 emission norms.
The prices of the bikes were also updated. According to the official price list, the KTM Duke 200 is available at a starting price of Rs. 2, 21,190. The number of variants available is one. The colour options available are two.

Looks
The bike comes with an inverted triangle-shaped headlamp cowl. It houses an LED DRL that accompanies a headlamp unit with a halogen bulb. The fuel tank on the latest iteration of the bike has an increased fuel-carrying capacity of 13.5-litres. The fuel tank has a new design. The tank shrouds are sharp but subtle at the same time. The tail section is a bit tweaked as well. It is sleeker than before. The seats are redesigned as well as they are now split into two separate sections.
Product Packaging
The bike comes with a similar product packaging to its BS-4 iteration. The bike still carries the orange-backlit LCD instrument cluster. The layout of the display has been tweaked a bit to keep it fresh. The bike comes with dual-channel ABS as factory standard equipment.
The Engine
The bike now comes with a split Trellis frame. It makes the bike agile in the corners and well-balanced at low speeds. The engine is a 199 CC, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. It still has the ready-to-race eagerness but overall, it has been tuned to be more rider-friendly and fuel-efficient. The power output of the engine is 24.7 bhp. The torque output is 19.3Nm. Compared to its rivals, the Duke 200 offers best-in-class performance on tracks as well as on roads.
Verdict
Similar to other KTM bikes in India, the 200 Duke is a great bike by all means. It has the power, the looks and the pedigree of a performance bike. Hence, buying this motorcycle is a winning move!
